Family and dog friendly event with prizes for best customs, several dog events, cooking competitions, raffles, antique car and bike show, police K-9 demos, live auction and live concert from the Going to the Dogs Band.

We are adding a third cooking competition called Specialties. That means anything but Chili or desserts. You can enter as many categories as you like or even more than 1 dish in each category.

Trophies for the top 5 finishers in best chili, best dessert, and best specialty. These will be voted on by the public so bring your best creation and lots of friends to vote you to the top.

We will also be having an auction and are currently looking for donations for the auction.

Best costume prizes will be awarded from kids through adults.

Top 5 prizes for the car and bike show with a prize for the vehicle that brings in the most money.

A new big screen tv and a new shot gun will be raffled off, also. Tickets are $20 each and a total of only 50 tickets will be sold for each item. The winner will be drawn that day and you do not need to be present to win. Also, we will soon be able to take requests for raffle tickets on that site, too.

Rules for entering Chili, Dessert, & Specialty Dish

Rules for the Chili and Dessert Cook-offs

Chili

Chili must be brought in a minimum of 3-quart crock pot; however, the more you bring the better chance at having more people taste your chili and vote on it.

You must provide your own serving ladle, and someone must be at your area to serve.

You must bring your own extension cord, suitable for your crock pot.

Your chili must be named and have a list of ingredients. Also, please identify whether your chili is mild, medium, or hot. You may make your own sign of this information or we will provide paper for you to write it on.

You will need to bring any added ingredients, such as cheese, sour cream, peppers, onions, etc., if you would like to offer these to the voters.

Spoon, bowls, and napkins will be provided.

We expect about 100 people, but we are not saying you need to have enough to feed all of them but enough to offer a tasting by a nice amount of people.

Dessert and/or Specialty Dish

We highly recommend that you bring enough dessert to have lots of people try it, enabling more voting. You may want to consider 2 pies, cakes, etc. of the same item. We expect about 100 people, but we are not saying you need to have enough to feed all of them but enough to offer a tasting by a nice amount of people. You can make your own sign identifying the name of your dessert and a list of ingredients.

Your dessert must be in a pan or tray to be served from and any utensils you will need to serve.

Plates, forks, and napkins will be provided.

There will be a refrigerator available for items that need to be kept cool.
